Papa Joe performs on the first and third Thursdays of each month. Technically, this is an open mike hosted by Karl Reiff and Billy Quay (also known as Curious Thirst), but it has more or less evolved into regular sets by Billy & Karl, Papa Joe, Betsie Jones and other local artists. The Smokin' Ox features beer and bbq as well as live music.
